Installation spotlight: Contemporary Renovation in Essex
10 June 2025
We specified and installed bespoke bonded aluminium entrance doors and a clear glazed aluminium pivot door and minimal frame sliding doors with glass to glass corners and a tiled in flush track threshold. In addition we added minimal frame sliding windows and fixed windows to flood the space with maximal light. The finished glazing installation also has secure automated opening systems.
An important point to note with glazing installation, is the necessity to consider multiple glazing locations on survey and view the installation as a whole. This process ensures that when measurements are taken and the entire installation is taken into account, the glazing in each position lines up perfectly, in conjunction with each item and symmetry is achieved.
We worked in conjunction with the building contractor, architect and home owner to achieve a minimal, contemporary design with excellent thermal and acoustic performance. The minimalist look remains at the forefront of modern design with large expanses of glass becoming a defining feature of contemporary renovations. The sleek, uninterrupted views, achieved through slim frames enhance natural light and upgrade the living environment.
