Edge-to-edge roof glazing

The Pure Glass Flat Roof Light is an understated roof glazing solution featuring a hidden aluminium frame to create an edge-to-edge ‘frameless’ glazed feature. The flat roof light is perfect if you are looking to feature glazing within your roof, without increasing the roof line or obstructing views from the floors above.
By working with your project team from the planning stage, we can achieve a flush finish for a striking, contemporary aesthetic.

Combining form and function

Featuring roof glazing in your home creates a stunning centrepiece as well as allowing natural light to flood the space. The Pure Glass Flat Roof Light can also be configured to feature manual or electric opening, allowing you to achieve the ultimate control of ventilation and temperature control for the home.
The polyester powder-coated aluminum frame provides superior strength and is available in 2 colours..

KEY FEATURES

CONFIGURATIONS

The Pure Glass Flat Roof Light is available in 4 configurations to meet the unique design and aesthetic needs of each project; Single Pane, Modular Silicone Join, Modular Glass Lintel and Modular Aluminium Beam.

Almost any size of Pure Glass Roof Light can be achieved by combining the optimum specification of roof light design, configuration and glass speciation.

GLASS SPECIFICATION

The glass for each Pure Glass Roof Light will be determined during specification, however solar-control, self-cleaning, toughened double-glazed glass is our minimum standard for safety and performance.

Based on the location of the roof light, a laminated inner pane may also be specified.

PERFORMANCE

To achieve optimum thermal efficiency and reduce the risk of condensation, all of our flat roof flights are fitted with warm edge spacer bars and feature argon gas filled cavities between the two panes. The frame is also thermally broken using 32mm twin polyamide inserts to ensure there is no thermal bridge from inside to outside, improving the thermal efficiency of the roof light.

OPENING OPTIONS

To achieve the ultimate versatility for ventilation, temperature control or access from your roof light, the Pure Glass Roof Light can be designed to open by either electric or manual operation.

Electric operation includes a wireless remote with a 230volt motor or rocker switch.

Manual operation, usually chosen for access purposes, includes double lock security latches and a steel strengthened frame.

Based on the specific requirements for the project, this can either be the whole roof light unit opening or an opening section incorporated into a fixed roof light.
